Is there a warranty?
Every watch carries a 2-year warranty on the movement, and the claim route is the same thread you ordered in.
What does the 2-year warranty cover?
The movement: timekeeping faults, a stopped or erratic movement, and the winding and date mechanisms. It does not cover wear and tear, water damage, a cracked crystal, a scratched case or bracelet, or damage from a drop - those are accidents, not manufacturing faults, and they are repairable but not free.
How do I make a claim?
Reply in the same thread you ordered in and describe what the watch is doing. A short video of the fault helps more than a paragraph. If it is covered we will arrange the repair or the replacement movement, and we will tell you before you send anything anywhere.
Does opening the watch void it?
A watch opened by someone other than us or a watchmaker we named is not covered, because we cannot tell a manufacturing fault from a repair gone wrong after the fact. If you only want to see the movement, ask us first - we will send you photographs instead.
