APS Factory

What kind of operation is this?

A single-line operation: Royal Oak in the 41mm octagonal case, built and sourced per order, photographed individually before anything is charged. The factory behind it is APS Factory, now renamed OCTA.

What do you actually build?

The Royal Oak in 41mm: the 15500ST and the 15510ST, across the blue, black, khaki green, grey and silver Tapisserie dials listed in the reference index. That is the whole line. We are not a general watch shop selling every brand - one family, done properly, is the point.

What changed when APS Factory became OCTA?

The name changed, the range did not. The factory this site is built around now trades as OCTA; APS, APSF and APSF Factory are the older names, and they are still what most buyers type into a search box, so both appear on this site. If you have read that APS Factory closed or was shut down, that is almost always the rename being read as a closure: a factory that changes its name looks dead to anyone reading an old list. What we will not do is guess on your behalf - we check the current status of the exact reference you want with the factory before you order, and say so if it has stopped.

What do you call these - superclone, replica or clone?

Buyers use the words interchangeably and so do we. Superclone, super clone, superclones, replica and clone all point at the same thing here: an independent factory's copy of the 41mm Royal Oak, not a watch that any brand made. The factory itself gets written four ways now - OCTA is the current name, with APS Factory, APSF Factory and APSF as the older ones - and it is the same line either way. We use the brand's reference numbers only to say which model is being copied, never to suggest we are the brand or are authorised by it.

How do you work?

Per order. You pick a reference, we source and photograph the actual watch, you approve the photographs, and only then does payment and shipping get arranged. Prices are quoted rather than published until the factory confirms them, because a number we invented would be worse than a question we asked.

What does this site not claim?

That these watches are genuine. They are not, and we do not pretend otherwise - they are made by independent factories, and brand names and reference numbers are used to identify the models we build, nothing more. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or authorised by any watch brand, and no page here should be read as saying we are.

How do you handle problems?

The same way we handle orders: on the order thread, in writing. A fault is repaired or replaced, a mistake in the order is ours to put right, and a return follows the 14-day policy on the returns page. We would rather resolve something than argue about it.

Is APS Factory still open?

Yes. The workshop this site is built around trades as OCTA now - the name changed, the range did not. APS, APSF and APSF Factory are the older names, and they are still what most buyers type.

Is this APS Factory or ZF?

This site sells the APS / OCTA line only. We do not sell other factories' watches, and we do not publish comparisons we cannot stand behind - what each reference actually is sits on its own page.

Which references do you build?

The Royal Oak in 41mm first: the 15500ST and the 15510ST across the Tapisserie dials in the reference index. The same workshop also builds the 15400 and 15450, Offshore, Chronograph, Perpetual Calendar, Code 11.59, IWC, Jaeger-LeCoultre and Blancpain lines listed under Collections.

Are these genuine watches?

No, and we do not pretend otherwise. They are made by independent factories; brand names and reference numbers are used to identify and compare, and every trademark belongs to its owner.

How do I actually order?

Per order: you pick a reference, we source it and photograph the actual watch, you approve those photographs, and only then are payment and shipping arranged. Nothing is charged on this site.

What this page does not claim

Brand names and reference numbers are used for identification and comparison only; all trademarks belong to their respective owners. We sell replica watches built by independent factories and describe them as such - we make no claim of authenticity, authorisation or affiliation with any watch brand or trademark owner.
